Emulsifiers :

• Symbiomuls GC: Synergistic emulsifying blend for OW emulsions, easy to use, gives homogeneous creams and lotions, can be used at low temperatures, natural origin, PEG & PPG free.
• Dermofeel PGPR: Dermofeel® PGPR is PEG and PPG free and consists of a favorable distribution of different chain lengths in the polyglyceryl part. Dermofeel® PGPR is a widely used, versatile W/O emulsifier for application in many product concepts with different textures, for emulsions with different viscosities. A water content of up to 80% is possible. Due to its pleasant skin feel and stability against radical induced oxidation it is especially recommendable for sun care formulations. dermofeel® PGPR is a pure ingredient with 100 % active ingredient content of Polyglyceryl-3 Polyricinoleate.
• Lecigel: Second generation phospholipids based versatile gelling agent that combines emulsifying properties of lecithin with thickening and texturizing effects of a polymer, it is easy to use and suitable for both hot and cold process. It is not shear sensitive and allows the use of all type of mixing systems. It is ideal for oil-free formulating.
• Heeliofeel: Natural sunflower phospholipid based O/W emulsifier, fluid and sprayable texture, light skin feel. Ideal for forming ultra-fluid emulsions even with a high oil phase in the formula. It provides a light texture with optimal sun-protection.  Due to its film forming properties it also provides a moisturizing action decreasing the TEWL of the skin. Its unique composition brings about high efficacy and pleasure and provides a smooth and light textured emulsion.
• Biophilic H :  Natural lamellar O/W emulsifier providing creamy texture and hydrating properties in sun care formulations.  Made of hydrogenated phospholipids, it helps in creation of a rigid lamellar network providing richer texture.
• Amisol Soft: Gentle lamellar O/W emulsifier to make sun-care lotion that is easy to spread on the skin.  It’s  based on complex of phospholipids phytosterols and vegetable lipids forming lamellar emulsion with various viscosities.  Its composition close to the skin’s one makes it particularly suitable for the most sensitive skins.

U V Absorbers:

 Zano® from Umicore, Belgium is Nano sized Zinc Oxide and its ready dispersions in different solvents. Zano® is a true broad-band UV-absorber that shows excellent absorption in both UV-B and UV-A region. What is most important is that even at dosages as high as 20%, it maintains transparency in the visible light region and does not give a white, chalky look on the skin.  Zano 10 is a specialty zinc oxide that offers excellent broad band UVA/UVB protection and transparency in personal care and sunscreen formulations.  Zano is Ecocert Certified.  Zano 10 plus is a surface treated version of Zano 10 coated with triethoxycaprylylsilane.  The surface treatment allows for easy incorporation and dispersion in many emollients. Xperse is Umicore’s range of dispersions of Zano 10 and Zano 10 plus.

Sensorial :

• Dermofeel Sensolv: 100% natural, high spreading, highly polar, non oxidizing oil.  Provides elegant skin feel. It is non greasy and an excellent choice as an emollient.  It is also an ideal choice for sun care products  as it shows very good solvating behavior for all sunscreen pigments like zinc oxide, Tio2 etc.
• Dermofeel BGC:  One of the most widely used oil component for sunscreens in the world combining high spreadibility and elegant skin feel.  It shows better solubility for important sunscreen pigments than standard oil components like C12:C15 Alkyl Benzoate.
• Siltech CE-2000: A high molecular weight ester that has exceptional wetting properties on pigments and helps in pigment dispersion for physical sunscreens, is highly substantive to skin and gives extremely silky and soft feel to the finished product.
• Dermofeel MCT:  Ecocert listed, highly spreading, non fatting oil component for versatile use;  of natural origin, excellent solvating power for UV filters with enhanced dispersibility of pigments.

Active Ingredients:

• Lysosensyl: A global anti irritant and soothing agent which uses the properties of vegetable lyso lecithin. It s strengthens barrier function and restores optimal cell membranes properties to protect skin from damages, also provides a soothing effect on irritation caused by UV-B radiation.
• Unirepair T-43: Amino acid rich complex to accelerate the repair of UV induced DNA damage, counteracts environmental UVA damage, accelerates the natural repair mechanism of skin which slows down with age, acts as a natural precursors to boost cellular metabolism.
• Uniprotect PT-3: Bioactive complex for protection of skin proteins from UV induced oxidation, works by stimulating oxidized protein repair mechanism, effective in both pre and post treatment products, useful in UV induced erythema, pigmentation (age spots) and elastosis (wrinkles).

SPF Boosters:

• Unimer series of film formers:  A series of film formers that ensures that UV filters spread all over the surface of the skin and thus substantially boost SPF (In vivo clinical data shows that when Unimer U-6 is used at dosage of 1.5% the SPF increases from 6.2 to 14.9).
